Minelab Vanquish 340 overview

The Minelab Vanquish 340 is made for people who want to start detecting without a long learning curve. It uses Multi-IQ technology and runs on four alkaline AA batteries. Control is kept simple on purpose. There are four sensitivity levels, three volume levels and three target tones, while a five-segment discrimination scale and a four-level depth indicator give a quick read on each signal. Noise cancellation is automatic, and a black and white LCD shows the target ID, with ferrous readings from -19 to 0 and non-ferrous from 1 to 40.

The V10 elliptical DD coil measures 10 by 7 inches and is waterproof to 1 meter, so wet ground and shallow streams are no problem. The whole detector weighs 1.2 kg and collapses to 76 cm for travel.
