Minelab Go Find 66 overview

The Minelab Go Find 66 combines V-FLEX technology and dual microcontrollers at 8 kHz with a 10-inch waterproof rectangular coil. Four search modes include All Metal, plus separate settings for jewelry and coins, for high-value coins, and for iron reject, giving you more say over which targets you hear. It is made in Australia and carries a 2 year warranty.

Targets are shown several ways. Treasure View uses five LEDs, showing red for ferrous junk and green for coins and jewelry, while the backlit LCD displays nail, foil, ring and coin icons plus a three-level depth indicator. Four tones, five sensitivity levels and five volume levels refine the audio, and pinpointing works with both sound and display.

Bluetooth 4.0 links the detector to the GO-FIND App Pro on iOS and Android, and the full version is free. Audio can go through the built-in speaker, the included Koss wired earphones or Bluetooth. The kit also adds a digging tool free of iron and a phone mount, and the unit weighs 1.06 kg, which keeps long walks comfortable.
